This week we wrapped up the language thematic unit on Community Workers and Places. In language centers we focus on recognizing sight words and applying it in reading. Watching students making connections between oral and written language is magical but truly not something that happens overnight. In Math we continue to explore the concept of Subtraction. The students are making sense of what Take Away means. They are also making number sentences by understanding the pictures.
In Science we talked about Sink and Float and did an experiment after making hypothesis.
